Our RMCC hallway gallery gained a new Art Exhibit this last week! The ceramic stoneware works of Tara Fermoyle adorn the walls with a unique display of ceramic wall art that sparks your visual textural interest and awakens the inner child that just want to touch the art!
I was talking with Tara today and I couldn’t help admiring her artistic confidence, down to earth nature, and excitement for the direction of her studio. Along with ceramic cups and bowls, she creates ceramic stoneware that seems to mimic the textile patterns of her other artistic love, interior design.
After bouncing around the tri state area getting a little taste of the farm, lake, and city life, Tara Fermoyle currently resides in Fargo, ND. Tara, an NDSU Alumni, has an extensive background in interior design and has worked in the industry in different capacities for more than ten years, specializing in textiles and furnishings. Her experience in the design field has influenced her ceramic work in many ways, as you can tell by her whimsical, yet pattern influenced wall ceramics. Currently, Tara works as a full time ceramic artist and interior designer in her newly opened design business, Fermie Studios.
Tara’s artwork, or as she describes them hanging on our walls, “ceramic skewers” (her words, not mine), will be on display and for sale from now until mid-July. Feel free to come visit the show at our clinic during open hours! For interest in purchasing, please contact Embrace Art Specialist, McCal Johnson, at her office #701.234-7305, or email @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
