Andrew Terrell, MD

Dr. Andrew Terrell received his undergraduate degree from Bingham Young University in Provo Utah and his medical degree from Indiana University. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at West Virginia University and did his fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Terrell specializes in head and neck tumors, mouth and throat tumors, microvascular reconstruction, transoral robotic surgery, thyroid and parathyroid tumors, skull base tumors, robotic surgery of the head and neck, free tissue transfer, and skull base surgery. He has published eight scientific articles during his training and is currently focusing on functional outcomes after head and neck cancer treatment. More specifically, Dr. Terrell is studying speech, swallowing, and quality of life outcomes. His hope is that a better understanding of current treatment outcomes will lead to improved quality of life in the future.
